I thought I’d offer a little bit of history into who I am and where I got started.
My name is Christopher Carrigan and I was first introduced to leather working when I was in college earning my degree in Farrier Science & Business from Hocking College in Nelsonville, OH.
I didn’t go to college to learn leather working, it just happened to be one of the courses offered by the college in the equine sciences department. Little did I know how hooked I would be after that class.
I came home with a passion for working with leather that quickly grew into a business. Today I do mostly custom work for clients who would like something unique and personalized just for them.
On a Sunday morning from May until October, you can usually find me at the Interlochen Farmer’s Market, in Interlochen, MI. Come out and take a look first-hand at the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each piece.
